For a telecommunications company with storytelling at its heart, the new iCable office needed to reflect the company’s remit of building narratives and connections. Our design brief was thus also a brand brief: the workplace needs to demonstrate, not just support, what iCable does. We set out to create the conditions for spontaneous moments of collaboration, designing a multifunctional environment that encourages exchange between employees, between departments and between partners, talent and clients. Formal and informal spaces sit in proximity in an open-plan layout backgrounded by warm timber, soft lighting and a depth of tone and materiality.
